開発途上国の保健人材育成とmHealthのための遠隔手法の開発

ITの専門家である東京国際大学Rajasekera副学長とともに開発途上国の看護の強化のために遠隔手法に関する一連の研究を行っています。途上国でも利用しやすいために使われているSkypeにより看護学生に対して看護技術の教育を試みてきました。また、医療サービスが十分提供されていない農村部での活動のためにmHealthのためのタブレット用アプリケーションとして患者のデータを医療関係者間で共有するためのN+Careと子供の健康?生育状況を共有するためのC+Growthを開発しました。mHealth とはモバイル端末を用いた遠隔医療のことです。現在は今後の実用化に向けて改良を重ねています。

Developing remote methods for training health human resources and mHealth in developing countries

We have been doing researches on remote methods for? improving nursing in developing countries, with Prof. Rajasekera who is IT specialist and a vice president of Tokyo International University. Specially, we have tried to teach nursing techniques to student nurses by Skype that is accessible and popular in developing countries.? And we developed mHealth mobile tablet Applications(N+Care and C+Growth) to collect patient data and child growth data from rural areas where medical service is not offered enough. Mobile health (mHealth)? is the practice of providing medical support from a medical professional to a patient at faraway location via mobile device. We have been working to improve such technologies? for practical use.
